Our story

Situated in the heart of downtown San Mateo, on the bustling B Street, the Barrel Bistro & Wine Bar opened its doors in 2019. Owner, Apo Kaplan and his staff have prepared a European inspired-menu with Spanish, French and Italian entrees. Patrons can enjoy an extensive wine selection as well as expertly-crafted cocktails.
